Designed to provide superior healthcare for civil and law enforcement members and their families. Managed by the Ministry of Public Works for the Ministry of the Interior reviewed by the Ministry of Health. 500-bed Kuwait Police Hospital has a commanding civic presence.

It incorporates a wide variety of medical specialties and inpatient facilities, creating a healing environment to enhance patient satisfaction and staff performance, and ultimately provide both visitors and patients’ confidence in the quality of care. Striving for a unique identity with strong character at the same time delivering a caring healing environment. The medals, honors, and uniforms of the diverse divisions of the Police and MOI became the concept identity. From the apparent forms to the metallic and saturated palettes all were dictated by this distinct character.

 

SCOPE

+  Led the drawing production from pre-schematic design through construction documents, completed on time

+  Coordinate the local architect to complete the design on time and budget with a geographically diverse team

+ Partner with the Sustainable Design Lab at the MIT, testing new workflows and performance metrics
